Point Nepean is a great place to walk, ride a bicycle or take the transporter around. This attraction is both historical and full of natural beauty. Point Nepean NP is located at the very tip of Mornington Peninsula. The park has rich history playing important role in the early settlement of Victoria. A tractor drawn train takes visitors along the National park to the very tip where Fort Nepean is situated. It was built as a defence system for Melbourne and over looks the heads so any ship entering could be stopped if needed. (Shots have been fired twice!)
