The best way to drive from Cape Town to the Cape of Good Hope is down the east coast and back up the west. The views of the coast are spectacular and there are many interesting wee villages and towns along the route. After you pass through the national park entrance gate, an information centre on your left is worth...

I found this place amazingly beautiful. Not crowded at all in the afternoon, best time to visit it. The rain was shame but then got beautiful rainbows as a reward :). I also loved to see the wild ostriches in the coast.
Beautiful inspiring place, I liked it all. Bike from the park entrance to Cape Point, then hike from Cape Point to Cape of Good Hope. But it's not really the tip of Africa, Cape Agulhas is.
It is touristy, and in the end probably not the most spectacular spot in the Western Cape. But what a great feeling to stand there. Note that you will still have some work to do to get to the real tip of continental Africa - Agulhas..

Lovely sandy beach, hiking trails with spectacular views of the coast line and the Cape. There is lodging available in the Park and we all agreed that would be the way to go if we...

Lovely scenery, crisp ocean air, beautiful views it all combines into a perfect, walking-distance outing. Interesting flora on the way, just beware of the fauna, local resident baboons, which got pretty tame and are not too shy of humans any more, trying to come quiet near and unfortunately...aiming to steal your snack, food or anything that they can munch on....

The farthest south you can go in south Africa! Amazing views and scenery to the drive out. You can walk the trail or take the cable car to the top but once at the top there are a fair bit of large steps to get to the lighthouse. There is also a hiking path that takes you right to the...
