Great place to have lunch at the shack in the middle of nowhere. It was cool to watch a quick rain storm coming across the water then the sun came right back out. Saw wild goats, the caves, beaches, dunes, and the Windmill Farm. Don't need a 4 wheel drive for this. more
If you are an animal lover, or you think animals are cute - this is a wonderful spot. DO interact with the donkeys. Before you go, stop and buy a bag of carrots or apples. The donkeys will appreciate it (and the staff has knives to cut the fruit & vegetables up.) DO talk to the volunteers that are working... more
These donkeys have been here for 500 years and are now endangered. Some well-intentioned Aruban has been taking them in and has created a very nice environment for these beasts. There's not much to do here except interact with the donkeys and that's enough for us. One of the donkeys was 55 years old--bless his heart. They're all a lot... more
