The food here is so bland its rediculous. Most (so called) Indian restaurants in the uk are somewhat altered to the taste of what uk people or Indians in the uk consider to be the Indian accepted food taste. The fish and chips are ok most of the time. The prices to sit in are crazy and the drinks are the same. we love the booths, mushy peas, bread and butter... The guy who runs this place is not well... his banter if you call it that is to in some way satisfy his ego. I mean come on... more
The food is fair and the service; well not great. Value for Jersey is still good... When it all first started it was half the size until they took over next door, which was very much needed due to its popularity. The reason it was so poular was the usual - friendly service, inexpensive, good food, large portions, cheap wine... more
