Third time I have visited the Curry Pot and the food just keeps getting better. Likewise, the customer service is Excellent as is the restaurants setup. Would highly recommend a visit. I would also highly recommend their Beef Vindaloo curry.

We received a voucher for a 2 night stay when we purchased our new caravan and had a look online to see what Southern Stars had to offer.
As soon as we saw they had dog friendly enclosures on some of their sites, we opted to pay the extra (minimal extra charge) and also booked for 5 nights instead of 2, which we are so glad we did
Not only is the place beautifully kept and the best caravan park we have stayed at as far as space and overall vibe goes, but the staff were absolutely fantastic
We were met at the entry with a smile and a g'day, the lady in the office was very nice, and helpful, then we were led to our site, and were given guidance while backing in to the site which was very handy indeed
The park has everything you need and is far enough away from Dunsborough and Busselton to feel quite secluded but also you are close enough to visit either of these (and more) should you wish to
About 3-4 Km from the Vasse shopping centre for supplies too so it has a lot to offer
We will definitely be going back, and our 15 year old puppy had the best time ever, not having to be on a leash in the enclosure was fantastic for him and made it stress free for us as we didn't have to worry about him taking off or getting himself into trouble with the bigger, younger dogs haha
Thanks heaps to the team at Southern Stars Holiday Park, you are doing a wonderful job and to the owners, you have done extremely well in setting this place up
Thanks
Ollie & Garry

Review of Inara Busselton

We have been to this restaurant when it first opened and it was very good. The food was very good. So we decided that on our next trip we would book it again. Had to pay a deposit of $20 per person. There were seven of us. Friends from the Uk had come over and unfortunately we had to cancel the dinner as our friends had jet lag. We rang the restaurant a few hours before the time so that they would be able to resell the table but they still charged us for cancelling $140. We did our best to let them know in time to sell the table again. We could have just not shown up and that would mean they had no way of reselling the table. We felt a little bit unfairly treated as it was a genuine reason. Sad because the food is good just not the customer care.

Popped into Occys today to catch up with old friends. Such a great spot for a catch up where you want to chat and be looked after by staff. They would pop by every now and then to see if we needed anything, more drinks - we did and had great cocktails. Lunch? Yes, had the squid and fish tails - loved it. Would highly recommend this venue. It was 10/10.

We were amazed at the level of facilities that Mandalay Resort Busselton had on site. They have literally thought of everything from those staying longer term or the weekender. Big kids and little kids will find fun and good times here!!
We’ll be back…..soon!!!!

We had a wonderful 2 night stay with generous upgrade with two bedrooms. Our days were made brighter by our rides in the cart from driver ‘Same’, he was cheerful and helpful. Thanks so much. We will be looking forward to returning again one day.

Awesome place to stay! This was our 2nd visit here & we'll definitely be back. Clean, friendly & our dogs loved it too. We stayed in a fenced site, which was grassed. The toilets & shower were clean & the shower was hot! Loved the location as well...minutes to the beach, 5 mins to Dunsborough & 10 mins the other way to Busselton.

This was a third time I spend time in the so called "Resort" at 13-14 March 2024 and this was definitely the last! When we arrived afternoon the weather was not to good ,cloudy and 23 degrees was not really suitable for poolside! We did not worry because next day forecast was good and really next day beutyfull warm sunny day ,warm weather and!!!!! " All thre pools including the warm indoor pool was closed down for cleaning from 8 o clock in the morning whole day ! Needless to say not a soul was visible cleaning or doing anithing with the pools ! Finaly at 4 pm a cleaner started some kind of a maintenance and every time he left for something, dully locked the gate to prevent anybody using even a sunlounge! Obviously a lot of gest was complaining including myself at the "friendly "reception ! Manager was not visible on site and the well versed staff at the reception tried to explain in broken english that that was the order of the invisible manager they can not do anything ,but gests can use "any other facility" at a resort such as sitting in the balcony looking at the empty pool! Since this was my third time visit I already noticed the slow overall decaying of the resort : thorn sunlounges and umbrellas the wellworn rooms and furnitures the conditions of the pools showing sign of incompetent management and a desperate need for "team building " big groups against "ordinary" resort users to have some income at all! With such an uncaring negligent management I do not predict too long before total bankruptcy!I do not recommend this "resort ta anyone try Broadwater resort wit its lively restaurants and the excellent management instead !!

Positives:
1. Spacious cottage - two bedrooms, loft, kitchen, laundry, one bathroom, one separate shower and toilet. 2. Location - within walking distance from town centre, with an easy beach access. 3. Well equipped kitchen with a microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, stovetop, oven, kettle and kitchenware. 4. Instant coffee, tea, salt and sugar were provided. 4. Washing machine. 5. Additional separate toilet and shower. 6. Fireplace. 7. Swimming pool.

Negatives:
1. Advertised as having two, full bathrooms, but in reality it was one proper bathroom and one extra, separate shower (with no cabinet, mirror or sink) and a separate toilet. 2. No A/C in the bedrooms, only old style, standing fan provided. 3. Extremely squeeky bed in one of the bedrooms. 4. Issues with the outdoor BBQ - burner ignition did not work. 5. Only one, tiny, 200ml, milk container provided for 4 people. 6. No coffee pods provided for the coffee machine, just instant coffee. 7. Apart from a bar of soap, no other toiletries were provided. 8. Lots of spider webs inside, mainly in the living room, 9. Strict check out conditions, including a $20 fee, if you are 15min late leaving the accommodation.

This is the best place in Dunsborough by a country mile. Fabulous food, squid skewers, stracciatella, bbq prawns, croquettes, salsa verde roast potatoes are sharing stand outs. Chicken & lamb mains also great. This is definitely gastro pub food, well above the norm. Great ever changing beers on tap plus a cocktail bar & a wine bar. You cannot go wrong!!

Thank you to the HGI team, my family and I had a fantastic 3 day stay!
Location - it couldn’t be better, metres to the beach, the jetty and a small walk to town.
The room - very comfortable, with view of the beach.
The hotel grounds - just spotless, you can tell it’s new and it is being well maintained. Great bar and restaurant on the ground level and also a gorgeous pool ( it could do with some extra umbrellas as there is little shade though)
Breakfast- Great variety and quality of food, would highly recommend to add it to the stay.
Service - Very friendly and attentive staff throughout the hotel. There was a great vibe and everyone seem happy to be there.

Loved our stay in Busselton and at this park. On arrival we were greeted warmly and were then met at our caravan site by a staff member who helped direct my husband onto the site with our van. That was so good!! The amenities were clean, the site we were on was great and best of all it was walking distance to the shops, beach and Esplanade where the Busselton Jetty is. Highly recommend this park.

Review of The Ship Inn

Three nights at The Ship Inn/Night Cap Hotel as a couple and found it clean, neat, quiet and functional. Two storey unit, good-sized bedroom upstairs, downstairs a single bed, little kitchen - utensils, cooker, microwave, crockery (for three) and washing machine under the stairs. Thought we had booked a room overlooking the pool but ended up with one overlooking a car park. It wasn't a problem but maybe just confirm when booking.
The downstairs configuration is a little odd, like a small lounge with a single bed in the middle. However, this would mean someone wheelchair-bound could use that area as a bedroom, adjacent to the spacious, fully accessible downstairs shower and toilet.
The location is a handy 500m from the main street and cafe area, (good coffee at 600m) 1km from the jetty so just far enough out to be quiet spot but within walking reach of the restaurants & breweries. The pool could do with a cover as even in our summer (March) it was cool as it is shaded by the buildings.

Review of Bamboo Spice

We booked a table for four, which was a good idea as it was busy, for a Wednesday.
We were greeted and seated quickly. We had starters and four main courses - duck, beef, chicken red curry.
All our food was delicious! Our servers were polite and courteous. Our food arrived quickly, hot and well presented.
I would highly recommend this amazing Thai restaurant.

So happy the Goose is open again. Unfortunately the food is well below standard.
I ordered the Barramundi, and at $38 I expected quality. What I got was a small over cooked, dry and flavourless inedible piece of fish.
Service was good and I did complain and was offered a refund.
Disappointing after a long day and looking forward to some quality food.

We enjoyed an amazing weekend at The Timothee Resort. The rooms were immaculately renovated, smelt clean & fresh and are very roomy. We loved using the luxurious heated pool and the grounds were beautifully maintained. We enjoyed an outdoor dinner around the new BBQ area and appreciated the kitchen facilities attached. What an amazing place to stay - so close to Busselton's main attractions. The new management were accommodating and friendly. Can't wait to book again. Thanks Timothee!
